What’s Next for Housing in Dartmouth MA? YOUR VOTE COUNTS! They want your Input... (i think)

Dartmouth Is Making a Housing Plan. Here’s Why You Should Actually Care.
The town of Dartmouth is updating its Housing Production Plan. Sounds boring I know.... But this five-year plan will directly impact what kind of housing gets built here, who can afford to live here, and how our town grows.
This is your chance to say what you actually want to see more of- whether that’s smaller homes for downsizing, rentals that don’t cost a fortune, or neighborhoods that your kids might actually be able to afford someday.
They put together a super quick survey to gather community feedback. It takes ten minutes (if that), and every question is optional.

Answer what you want, skip what you don’t. Just make sure your voice is in the mix.
A Quick Note on Sewer Drama (Because It’s Real)
New housing is great in theory, but let’s be honest... Dartmouth’s infrastructure is already under pressure. A bunch of new developments are in the works, including a 55+ community on Dartmouth Street. Meanwhile, our sewer system is hanging on by a thread.
The town is working on upgrades, but these kinds of things take time and money. Your input through the Housing Production Plan survey will help make sure future growth is actually realistic not just some “wishful thinking” master plan that never connects the dots.
Bottom Line
If you live here, work here, or hope to stay here, this is your chance to speak up. The survey is open now and only takes a few minutes.

That is not a coincidence, and once you understand why, it changes how you decide where to actually spend your time.

Padanaram Harbor Just Reminded Us Why It Keeps Winning
A full double rainbow set down over Padanaram Harbor last night. It came in right after a passing shower, the kind we get a lot of in late May, and it arced clean across the water from the marina side all the way over toward the bridge. Both bands showed. If you have spent any real time in Padanara
